Pahala Aloha Island Performing Arts Company Presents: Hip-Hop Dance Classes, every Tues, Wed, Fri, Dates TBA, at the Na`alehu Theatre. Tue and Fri class is from 3:30-5:30pm. Wed is from 2:30-4pm. Open to new and experienced dancers. Call Monique at 989-4855 for more information.

Pahala Volcano Art Center Art Show Each month the Volcano Art Center Gallery in Hawai`i Volcanoes National Park features some of the island's most talented artists. Free (Park entrance fees apply). Call (808) 967-7565 or visit www.volcanoartcenter.org.

Pahala After Dark in the Park Programs, Award-winning educational programs on topics pertaining to Hawai`i and its culture. Programs are on select Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m. Dates to TBA. Pahala Dialogue; Sun, October 1, 1-3 p.m. Dialogue calls for a temporary suspension of one’s beliefs in order to listen and understand another side, fostering introspection and the possibility of finding better solutions. PILI, 929-8364.

Pahala Gentle Yoga begins Thursdays 5:30 - 7 p.m., Old Japanese Schoolhouse, Volcano. For those who wish to deepen their yoga practice, or begin, this Ananda yoga style is gentle and meditative, great for strength, flexibility and relaxation. $10 a class or $42 for 6-week session.
